Fire
Our horses are trained to be calm and comfortable with various fire effects.
These can range from static gas-fuelled braziers and burning buildings on set, to flaming torches held by the rider and even fire-breathing in the saddle.
We can provide a number of practical fire effects on set including flaming torches and gas braziers.
Atmosphere
We have an ARTEM exterior smoke machine available for creating atmosphere on set.
This is the same unit used by SFX departments on major productions to create specialised lighting effects, fine hazes or large volumes of smoke instantly.
Our horses are routinely trained with the ARTEM to ensure they are comfortable when it is used in a shot.
Horse Prop
We have a full sized horse prop which can be used as a sleeping horse or corpse with the correct tack to match a hero horse.
This prop is lightweight and can be easily dressed into a scene by hand.
Props
We have an extensive prop store ranging from hitching posts, carriage lamps, authentic driving whips, costuming, tack for set dressing and much more, so please let us know if you are looking for particular elements for your scene.
